More About Javier Prusky

As a Latino American bilingual voice actor, Javier Prusky has worked proudly to represent his various communities. He is the melting pot as Latin American, Middle Eastern, Indigenous, European, and LGBTQIA+. Because of his diverse background, he has a passion to lend his voice to fight for those who traditionally have had their voices silenced. He’s proud to have voiced campaigns for DACA, DREAMers, Disney Aspire, and the Association of American Universities. He’s had the honor to represent his Latino community through his English and Spanish voice for clients like Comcast/Xfinity, Nissan, Delta, Univision, Staples, HGTV, Forbes, Disney, America’s Test Kitchen Kids, Taxslayer, and many more!

He is based in Los Angeles where he has worked in video games, animation, ADR, anime and live-action dubbing, industrials, commercials, audiobooks, e-learning, and IVR. He’s the narrator of BuzzFeed’s hit series Unsolved Mysteries and has appeared in video games like Fallout 76 and Far Cry 6. He’s particularly proud to star in Netflix animation Spirit Rangers where he portrays a character with Indigenous and Latino roots. He’s been on-camera in shows like Grace and Frankie (Netflix), Daytime Divas (Sony/VH1), Halt and Catch Fire (AMC), and more. He’s provided ADR and dubbing to over ten shows in HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, and Paramount +.

Javier’s training is diverse in its own way. A fun fact he likes to mention is that he went to clown school in Paris, France. Although clowns traditionally don’t speak, he’s used that innocence and gusto for life in clowns to bring his voice in the booth to sparkle. He’s also trained in classical Shakespearean text through The Globe Theater in London, UK. He even performed in The Globe’s production of Romeo and Juliet as its titular character Romeo. Other training highlights include a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University, improv at The Groundlings and UCB as well as being trained in Opera. He’s performed in many productions after college such as Maria de Buenos Aires with Syracuse Opera as well toured an educational clown show around inner-city elementary school throughout the Northeast US.

His voice is often described as youthful and everyman: a voice of the people that folks believe in. There’s a warmth that draws you in. There’s also a low undertone quality that shows the strength we need for our communities. He’s the guy next door; the college student striving to be the first in his family to graduate; the nurse taking care of the elderly; a young dad trying to figure out new fatherhood. Yet Javier’s voice can quickly change for animation and video games, and it’s a surprise the quirky and wacky characters that come out.

Javier lives in Los Angeles and strives to spend time with his loved ones, especially his mom. He likes to keep himself filled with joy whether it’s traveling the world and hiking, or playing with his LGBTQIA+ dodgeball league and training in kickboxing.
