More About Evan Widjaja
Evan Widjaja is a voice actor of Chinese-Indonesian descent, based in Sacramento, California. He graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and initially had a career as a controls engineer for industrial automation. But after eight years in that field, he determined that an engineering career was not the best fit for him. In 2020, he turned his focus toward developing a new career as a voice over actor, and now is working full time with representation in San Francisco, California.
Now, as a member of the Blue Wave Voiceover collective, Evan is excited to lend his voice to forward progressive campaigns and causes that truly help American citizens, whether local to his home in Sacramento or across the United States as a whole.
Evan’s other creative projects include performing in short films and live comedy in the local Sacramento community. And outside of his career in voice over, Evan also provides freelance technical writing services to engineering firms.
